lyrics

Sometimes in life you come across a beautiful soul on the other side of the world. You share with one another past experiences and art. And in a flash… they're gone.

I hit the road about a quarter to 5. I felt the sun as it started to rise. I spotted someone, they held up their hand, a dark skinned gentle looking Indian man. He wore a turban and a flute at his waist. The secrets of the world hidden in his face.

Cruisin slowly in the ambassador, I ventured in the forest and met with a traveler. Pulled out a bansuri, softly he played a little melody “ga, re, sa, ni, sa, ni… da, pa, ni, pa, sa…”

He said he’d lost something out of his hat. It must have fallen somewhere out on the path. It started raining, the sky went black. And then I saw a leopard purring in his lap. I had to catch all my breath that he stole. He had a way with nature and the animals. His presence alone, it could light up a broken soul.

Cruisin slowly in the ambassador, I ventured in the forest and met with a traveler. Pulled out a bansuri, softly he played a little melody “ga, re, sa, ni, sa, ni… da, pa, ni, pa, sa…”

And most of all, the thing he really loved to do was tear it up on that bamboo.

Cruisin slowly in the ambassador, I ventured in the forest and met with a traveler. Carried a bansuri, softly he made it sing a melody “ga, re, sa, ni, sa, ni…

Mmm and I asked myself, “who could this be?” I had a clue and my heart skipped a beat…

As we made our way out of the woods he suddenly shouted and I stopped the car. He stepped out of the ambassador and pointed to something colorful on the road... an enormous peacock feather. It glistened blue, green, and golden in the sun. He took the feather and tucked it up into his turban and turned around to face me, and held up his palm just as he did the first time. Only this time it was to say goodbye...

Cruis'n slowly in the ambassador, and I slammed on the brakes and I got out of the car. I caught up with him before he got too far. And I asked him for the answers! What are the answers to the problems of this world! And he looked me in the eye and said they’re found deep inside and said “I’m situated, in everything that's alive.”
